Queenie had her first experience of crunchy leaves on Saturday, and she loved it.
We went with Liam's parents to Trerice. We'd been cooped in all week with illness. I was feeling overwhelmed and exhausted and in desperate need of sunlight. And what a brilliant antidote a day kicking leaves was.
I stood in the sunshine, surrounded by these beautiful leaves and remembered what it was about autumn that I love so much. And having a little one in tow makes it all the more fun.
After a delicious lunch, we had a quick browse of the Elizabethan manor house, then headed to our main destination; the gardens. We played a few rounds of skittles, walked through the allotment and ended up at the car park sitting amongst a sea of yellows, browns and orange.
What is your favourite season? Do you have any autumn traditions?
