25 - 27/52

As ever, I'm catching up...

"A portrait of Queenie Valentine, once a week, every week in 2013."

25- I love the expressions she pulls.
26- Painting with beetroot.
27- Not too pleased with her cold bath in the garden.

This girl has real character, she has us in stitches all the time. I love watching her walk everywhere, already so strong on her feet and so steady. She now has seven teeth, which if not careful, give a powerful chomp! She uses them to eat everything in her path. I am astounded at how much such a tiny person can consume. And she is really tiny, still in 9-12months clothes. Her wee hands wave to whoever passes and often to nothing at all, while she calls out 'hulla hulla'. She's also uttered her first word besides greetings, or mama and daddy, 'Cheese'! Queenie is most definitely my daughter! She now also has said 'kitty', 'pooey', 'meema' and out in the garden sat among the clover I taught her 'bee' as we watched them buzz around us. I had a few days away from her (for the first time, eek!) and loved it but returned with fresh energy and love for spending time with her.
